Quicken accounts not updating

You can make entries through multiple devices like mobile phone with customize option to view the data in various formats. However, sometimes transactions are not updated even after several entries, and there could be multiple reasons showing such issues. You just have to try them check the account and/or routing number close the box close quicken reboot the computer open quicken go to tools / account listedit account detailsunder online services tabclick set up one step update / web access go through all of the prompts to enter they type of account the name of the bank etcput in the user id and password again that redoes the entire quicken connection which seems to work a lot better then just playing with the password As they are seperate accounts you also want to check that the investment I do not want to rate you as poor, since you have answered each time; however that said note that I have tried all of your suggestions and still have the problem.I'm tired so want to quit until Quicken can give me a more specific answer.Note each of your suggestions I have tried in the past and tried again so their must be an additional underlying problem, possible with Morgan Stanley.I have tried them for solutions also, everyone suggests I repeat the same things.

There are cash amounts and securities amount for the same account - the cash amounts update the securities do not.If you merely want to hide a security from any future use, you don't need to delete all the transactions that use it.For record keeping and tax purposes, it's usually best to hide a security instead of deleting it from your file. This function worked beautifully on my Quicken until my broker changed to Morgan version of quicken is it ?There are about 10 different listings for morgan stanley or JP Morgan in quicken.
